I always found a difference between a patriot and a passionate patriot. The former is clouded by patriotism, so much so that, he does not find anything wrong with his country. I dread such people. They are optimistic (or should I say over optimistic), ignore the short comings, and hamper self-improvement and growth.
The latter is willing to acknowledge the short comings, sounds more pessimist and is always talking about things that can improve his country. I am happy to be in a company of such people. Even a 1% chance of their talks turning into actions can do more good than the patriots who are just too optimistic and resting on the past laurels.
I find passionate patriots in entrepreneurs. It always helps to be in such a company.
