Being Human

Its a NGO of a popular Bollywood superstar and I was excited to see a lot of people sporting tees that said ‘being human’ as a sign of their support to the cause and NGO. But what also struck me was where do these people vanish in a company (yea, the for profit companies).

Humans are these intelligent social animals to whom caring comes naturally. Yet you have companies that put policies before people. In such instances people cease being human. 

As an entrepreneur, if you have set off to change the rules of the game, this is one you should look at. Building an organization that is human is not difficult. You just need to ensure not to punish your team for being human. Making this a policy is not a bad idea.

Side Note: I do see lot of start ups starting this way. Sustenance is what we are hoping!
