When you are picking a gift for someone very dear to you, your purchasing decision is clouded by the thought behind the gift. Cost either comes next or just doesn’t find its way through.
Should this be any different for marketers. Ain’t the story that your audience perceive more important than how you say it?
Dropping them an email wishing Christmas is nice. But dropping them a personal note with a warm gift (even if it just for a select few) is thoughtful.
Side Note: The post is dedicated to my dear wife who celebrates her birthday tomorrow. As it says ‘It’s the Thought.’
